Republican Survior Getting Funnier
Round four elimination ceremony of Republican Survivor shows Dick Cheney giving his audience some very comical choice words. Let's just say it's an instance of art imitating life.
The group has also launched an effort to send George Bush a Birthday Haiku.

I Love Tech More Than You
Much to the enjoyment of Silicon Valley, both Bush and Kerry are sucking up to the tech world.
In a recent top-secret debate held 10 miles below the earth at Bill Gates' "Fallout pad" Kerry was heard telling Bush, "I love tech more than you do."
To which Bush replied, "No you don't," followed by 37 consecutive:
Kerry - "Yes, I do"
Bush - "No, you don't"
The moment climaxed with Kerry saying, "Shut up, big dummy head."
Bush quickly countered with, "I know you are, but what am I?"
The debate grew so intense Steve Jobs had to separate the two men by cajoling each of with a Mac running the new Tiger OS and a free Gmail email account to play with.
Kerry and Bush then apologized and promised to personally invest 1 billion of their inheritance money in risky tech stocks.
The above story is not true. Gates would never invite Jobs to his secret pad.
For real news on why both candidates might be good for the future of tech visit the following:

I'm Not A Nazi
Uh Oh! It looks like the gloves have come off with the latest ad from the Bush-Cheney '04 website. The ad has clips of Democrats ranting intermixed with the infamous MoveOn Bush In 30 seconds Nazi Ads.

Canadian Election Special Report
The good folks at PoliticsOnline have just posted a special report on the impact of the internet in the Canadian Elections. I think it's pretty good, but then again I'm partial to my Editor.

Bush Is Web Savvy, No Really, He Is
Sure Dean was the Internet Candidate and the innovator and blah, blah, blah, BUT lets get serious. The Bush '04 campaign has taken it to the next level. David Abel, Editor of PoliticsOnline, wrote about this weeks ago in a brief article discussing the GeorgewBush website. I am glad to see at least one news group is finally giving the Bush internet gurus credit for taking online campaigning to the next level. even if it is a few months later.
Don't you love how bloggers assume they are the first to notice everything or are the only people in the world with original thoughts? That's what makes us so special.

It's All About Dean
It will be exactly one year ago tomorrow, that Howard Dean graced the stage in Burlington Vermont leading 5,000 plus deaniacs in a "Declaration Celebration" that many thought would turn the Democratic Party on its head.
So, tomorrow one year later after the fan-fare, Dean will try to excite his email supporters into believing that the Revolution is still going on, it's just day two.
My birthday is tomorrow and if Dean puts you in the donating mood, well...
Also more Dean related news popped up today about Unions going virtual with a new website called PurpleOcean.org.

Free Spam List Courtesy Of US Gov.
Ok, did I miss something? I thought Spam already came in a can, what's with congress trying to regulate what already comes in a "fresh pack"?
I've waited for two years to use that line. Sorry, you were a victim of it.
Read about the Canning of the Can Spam Act from today's Geek.com article.

Kerryopoly Vs. Contractopoly
A few weeks ago I told you about Kerryopoly and hoped to see some more humorous jabs from the left and right. Well, today jab came one from the left in the form of Contractopoly. The new game by the Center for American Progress allows you to stroll down game board lane with to "win billions in sweetheart deals from the Bush Administration as you rebuild Iraq."
Not as funny as Kerryopoly but a lot better design.

E-voting Progress?
This week the online world of technocrats will discuss e-voting. California and Ohio are setting the standard for verified paper trail touch screen voting machines, and I’ve been informed good news will come from these two states in few a days.
I have mixed feelings about this but I think we are headed in the right direction, which is voting online. I have great hope in the genius of American people, especially people with pocket protectors and horn-rimmed glasses.
Onward E-voting Away!

It’s Mourning In America
Today the online world contemplates three things:
1. How will Reagan affect the November elections?
2. How will the left respond to his death in columns and blogs, and will the right be able to use that against them?
3. Which website has the best online memorial?
The answer to the latter so far is the BushCheney04 website followed by the Washington Post.

3 Things To See On Friday
Before you give up your work's high speed internet access and check out for yours home’s dial up modem, take a look at these three webmercials. I call them the Good, Bad, and the Ugly.
Good: Republican Survivor, because it's funny.
Bad: Pessimism Bush Ad, because Kerry's gloom and doom is not nice.
Ugly: For War Years Kucinich Ad, because it's gross and would never be shown on TV.

The Education Of A Moncia Scam
I just read the "The Education of Alexandra Polier" article from the New York Metro. After reading it I realized she did get screwed, but it was by the press instead of a well known senator.
Oh what a tangled web internet reporting can weave. I'm putting together a case study on this.

Canadian Elections: Wired And Wacky
Well, Canada’s online election frenzy is exploding like bloated road kill in the hot sun. Its everywhere, even leaking across borders into U.S. press.
You know it has to be juicy if its taking news time away from the "WMD, Iraqi, Don’t Blame Me" election politics going on in the U.S. of A.
Look for a PoliticsOnline special report in a week to give you the low down. If you can't wait until then, take a look at this.
